Meet Dr. Darah Fugetta

With more than 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Darah Fugetta is a dedicated, family-focused dentist committed to delivering comprehensive, compassionate care to patients throughout the Lafayette community. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in 2001 and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the LSU School of Dentistry.

A native of New Orleans, Dr. Fugetta began her career practicing alongside her father before relocating to Lafayette following Hurricane Katrina. She now proudly calls Lafayette home, where she resides with her husband, Dr. Dennis Eschete, and their two children, Gabriel and Noelle.

Dr. Fugetta has pursued advanced training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including porcelain veneers, implant dentistry, TMJ management, full-mouth rehabilitation, and facial esthetic injectables. She is particularly passionate about helping patients achieve both functional health and confident smiles. Understanding that many individuals experience dental anxiety, she offers sedation options to ensure a comfortable, stress-free experience.

Committed to clinical excellence, Dr. Fugetta integrates state-of-the-art technology into her practice, including digital scanning, laser dentistry, and 3D printing, allowing for precise diagnostics and efficient, patient-centered treatment.

She maintains active membership in the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, Acadiana District Dental Association, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. She also participates in a Spear Study Club, engaging in ongoing collaboration and continuing education with colleagues and specialists to remain at the forefront of modern dentistry.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Fugetta enjoys cooking, traveling, exercising, and spending quality time with her family.
